I kept the phone plugged in constantly when I first received it, and I think this destroyed the battery, such that its battery life, when not plugged in, can be anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes. (I kept it plugged in because, at best, its battery life was about 90 minutes of talking, and with my schedule, I never knew when the phone would be dead, or when I would need it). After keeping it plugged in, the phone started overheating after about 10 or 15 minutes of talking. The reception has never been good--about 3 metres of clear distance between it and the router. It constantly misses incoming calls. I tried using it again, after about 11 months in storage. It can't recognise my router. The buttons don't work all the time. It took about five attempts to just sign me in, but each time I've done so, there isn't enough signal strength to sign into Skype, despite the fact my neighbor's unsecured WiFi network is showing four bars.
