(More customer reviews)No complaints about the general quality, but it apparently is not able to charge a Motorola RAZR phone, or at least not the V3i that I have. When it's plugged in, the screen lights up, but it apparently isn't charging. Have Motorola deliberately changed the pin configuration to make people buy their (much more expensive) cable?

I've tried charging my LG smart phone with it, both attached to a computer USB port and the home charging unit and in either case it does not charge the phone, where the other cable does that came with the phone does. I've even borrowed a micro-USB / USB cable from a friend with a Blackbery and that cable worked while this does not. Contacted the seller about a week ago and have had no response. Don't waste the small amount of money on buying this!!!

(More customer reviews)When I got these cables I was a little freaked out. The cable that ships with the Eris is not a standard cable, these are standard mini-USB cables. To my surprise they fit just fine. The cable that ships with the Eric is non-standard for no reason! So not only is this a perfectly good cable but it will work with any other devices (PS3 controllers, digital cameras, hard drives, etc) that you may have that accept these cables.
